'Tis the season

It's that time of year again! Lights, Christmas trees, yummy treats and smells, families, and getting ready to go to Utah again!

This year, I decided to try a little decorating at our apartment, even though we wouldn't be home for most of the season...it was fun!

  Look at our HUGE tree!

Haha...ok it's just a little guy stuck behind the couch ;) but I like him!

 These two melt my heart

There is no one Caden loves more than our good friend, Ashley. He barely even snuggles with me like this!

Mmmm...chocolate chip and butterscotch cookies. These remind me of the ones my grandma used to make:)

My little guy all ready for church, AND happy about it!

Caden's Christmas present! We decided to open it up and use it early because we didn't take it to Utah. Look how big munch looks! He's growing up so fast...

We had a pretty good time :) I gotta say, it is nice to be able to take a walk in December and only have to put on a light jacket.

This was such a fun day with these great girls! We went to the taping of the X Factor and then went and had some girl time at The Grove.

The Christmas Decor was gorgeous!

Sprinkles cupcakes. Yum!

McDonald's peppermint hot chocolate...one of my many guilty pleasures at Christmas!

We had to hit up Disneyland at Christmas time!!

We went back another night and brought the guys. The kids love when their dads come to Disneyland :)

Admiring the lights at the LA Temple.

Time to make the trip to Utah! The Beynons were heading up at the same time, so we decided to caravan :) It was a lot of fun. We stayed in a really nice hotel in Vegas on the way and got to hang out.

Ashley captured this great picture of me as I was escaping from one of the most disgusting gas station bathrooms I've ever been in...

Winter Wonderland...a bit different than what we are used to in So Cal! But beautiful!

Where's Caden? It totally freaks me out that he sleeps like this...but no matter how much we take the blankets off, they go right back on!

With the Hicks family at the Christmas Carol.

Caden got to hang out with his Uncle Steven and Grandma and Grandpa while we went to the play. :)

Caden loves snuggling with the pillows.

:)

 Caden LOVES the fish!

 He kept kissing them :)

This is what happens when Caden is left with Grandma and Aunt Brooklyn for five minutes...The concerning part about this is he liked it and left it on!

Late night Target runs with this crazy girl leads to all sorts of adventures...She's the bomb.

'Me? Eat lunch? No way! I think food looks better on the floor...'

Spending a night at the Jon Schmidt concert with the Olsen family.

Caden played and snuggled with this blanket on the floor for so long. I wasn't there, but Kari sent me pictures and videos. It was so cute!

 All done!!

I just love this face :)

Our attempt at making homemade fudge

It didn't really turn out...but it was so much fun!

Making pies. We're so cute ;)

 Christmas Eve festivities! Including cooking...

 acting out the nativity...

 opening family gifts...

and then heading over to the Hicks.

My dad was practicing for his early morning song. Caden was very intrigued. He loves music.

Merry Christmas!!! Racing to the family room to open presents...Caden has no idea why everyone is so excited!

 His new light up toy

Ya, we weren't supposed to do presents this year. Obviously Kari didn't get the message! But I'm ok with that ;)

We got to Skype with Dylan!! We miss him so much..

Opening presents at Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer's. Caden loves his blocks with the "Blue's Clues Pawprints" :)

Playing Just Dance with the Hirsts

May the force be with you...

 Caden loves cheesecake

We went snowshoeing with Shawn, Angela and her kids. It was gorgeous!

  Another snowy night

He loves to stand and dance on the banister. It's pretty adorable. He also likes to play hide and see with people going up and down the stairs.

Little munch got so sick :(

We took him to the doctor, and he ended up having RSV. He was miserable for a few days, but he's a tough little guy and got better quick. We had planned on driving back with the Beynon's again, but the doctor advised us to stay put until he was better. So we got to stay through New Years! We went and hung out at Angela's. We played games, talked, and finished the night with some Martinelli's. It was a good way to end 2012 and start 2013 :)
