Happy July!

Baby update: IT'S A BOY!! :)

20 weeks 

July was a fun, crazy month! We had two awesome visitors, my brother Alex and his girlfriend Joey.

They were with us over the 4th of July. We went to a parade in the morning and the Rose Bowl fair and fireworks that night.

Hurricane Harbor was one of our fun stops during their trip :) Got lots of good sun!

We went to Santa Monica beach for the last day of their vaca.

I went to Costco with my friend, Ashley, who is expecting a little girl in January.  Two pregnant ladies who see big, fluffy teddy bears for a great price = much laughter from surrounding Costco goers while pushing around the cart. We were way too excited about our purchases :)

Kari got his CPA Certificate in the mail!! :) So proud of you, honey! Your hard work is paying off!

Kari bought me a serger so that I could make maternity skirts. Who'd a thunk I'd be so dang crafty?!

Our first baby purchase: a pack and play. So fun!

Another 'fun' thing we got to do this month was moving! We left our first 1 bedroom home here in California and moved a couple blocks away to a 2 bedroom :) Moving up in the world, I'm telling you! It was such a pain, but so much fun. This last year went by so fast, and we made so many great memories at our place on Arroyo. We were ready to move on, though. We are excited for the next steps in our lives. Being pregnant and Kari having knee problems posed a huge problem in moving all the big furniture pieces. Luckily we had a great group of guys from our ward come help us out! We couldn't have done it without them!
