October has been so fun! Kari's parents came down to visit us. We have missed spending time with them so much! So it was great to be able to see them for a couple days. We went down to the Newport Temple, rode the ferry at Balboa Island, ate dinner in Newport Beach, and went to the USC football game.

Oh my gosh, it was FREEZING!! So Kari bought me an SC blanket :) Mmmm warm :)
On Halloween, we went over to a friend's house and made carmel apples, doughnuts, I brought my 'dirt' pudding, and we watched a scary movie. Fun night!

We also went to meet with Kari's friends, Neil and Megan, at Downtown Disney. It made us want to go to Disneyland! Unfortunately Kari has school and mid-terms and lots and lots of other excuses ;) but it was still a lot of fun! We ate an ESPN Zone, which was the guys dream come true. We watched the World Series game, and San Francisco won, so the place was pretty crazy!!

Hopefully we'll be better about taking more pictures with the actual camera so we can post more of our fun adventures :) Maybe Disneyland or something...you never know!
Lex! we're going to California tomorrow! we're going to Anaheim to see the Ducks play hockey and to go to disneyland! i wish you lived closer to Anaheim!

ReplyDeleteStop posting pictures of where I lived and grew up! I'm getting home sick :-) So happy for you, though. We lived 8 minutes from the NP Beach Temple and got to help with its opening. And I love USC football games at the Coliseum. Glad you got to go to Balboa Island. And ESPN zone is fun and the food is goood. How fun to see the World Series that night! Sounds like you've done a lot! Now, if you post pictures of going to the secret restaurant at Disneyland you're in trouble! I've always wanted to go there :-) Hey, are you gonna go to the Rose Parade this year or the Rose Bowl game?
ReplyDeletehaha sorry!!! It's such an amazing place, I just can't help but show it off :) How do you even get into the secret restaurant?! I need to figure that out...Going to the Rose Parade or the Rose Bowl game all depends on how the U plays this weekend. If they go undefeated and end up playing in the Rose Bowl, then we'll definitely be here for both. If not, then we'll probably stay in Utah for a few more days. We're planning on going back over Kari's Christmas break. But they would be so cool to go to!
